IT Auditor
About the job
We are looking for an IT Auditor to perform audits of Information Systems, including the identification and testing of systems within the Bank according to the IT Audit annual plan, to help to ensure effective operations, affirm its compliance with various regulations and confirm that the business is functioning well and is prepared to meet potential challenges.
IT Auditor responsibilities include helping us to gain assurance on the level of protection available for information assets and must have a thorough understanding of this auditing process as well as information technology processes, business processes and controls designed to achieve the objectives.
In this role you should be highly analytical, excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential, if you also have hands-on experience with technical background, we like to meet you.
Main Responsibilities:
Examining and/ or Testing Information Systems to determine whether:
Information systems follow applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines & best practices.
Information systems and related processes comply with governance criteria and related and relevant policies and procedures.
Data and information have appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Information Technology operations are being accomplished efficiently and effectiveness targets are being met.
2. Review the control framework, gathers evidence, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of internal controls based on the evidence and prepare an audit report that presents weaknesses and recommendations for remediation in an objective manner to stakeholders.
Skills and Educational Background:
Skills are applied or practical knowledge and skills needed for effective technical performance in specific roles, groups of roles, or functions.
Computer Skills
Data mining
Information Security / Cybersecurity
IT Testing
Verbal and writing Communication.
Excellent in the English language.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or any related stream.
Professional certificates are preferred i.e., CISA, COBIT, CISSP, CEH, CISM.
2-3 years experience in Information Technology, IT/IS Audit, and Information Security fields ( fresh candidates are welcome to apply)
